SUP Instructor Courses and Clinics

 This 2.5 day, Paddle Canada Certification course is designed to give you all the tools and training required in order for you to safely and effectively lead your own Basic SUP skills courses. This course includes an advanced skills brush-up after prior to the instructor course commencing to ensure participants have their own skills dialed in. These courses are usually offered in the fall and spring seasons, but can be booked any time by companies looking for staff training.

Course Length: 18+ hours for 2.5 days

Cost: $449 plus GST

 This 2.5 day, Paddle Canada Certification course is designed to give you the tools and training required in order for you to safely and effectively lead your own Advanced Flatwater SUP skills courses.  This course is also a prerequisite for those looking to continue their  journey as an instructor and become certified in Touring, Surf or River SUP. These courses are usually offered in the fall and spring seasons, but can be booked any time by companies looking for staff training. Course includes an advanced skills brush-up session the Friday afternoon before the Saturday start date.

This professional development clinic allows Paddle Canada instructors to fulfill their quadrennial requirements to maintain their instructor certification. The focus of these clinics is to improve and fine-tune instructors' paddling skills and teaching techniques in fun and challenging ways. 

Our aim for this particular clinic is to go through an advanced SUP skills tune-up, discuss and implement different teaching methods (instructor focused), learn to teach various skills through games (client focused), and apply your advanced SUP skills in new environments. 

Course Length: 6+ hours

Cost: $159 plus GST 

This option is all about you! We organize a program all about the knowledge and skills you are looking to grow. From basic  and advanced SUP skills through touring and river paddling, we can create a path to take you from your current level to exactly where you want to go. I
